• Pericarditis is a condition characterized by acute or chronic inflammation of the membrane around the heart (pericardium).

Causes of pericarditis:

• It is caused by bacterial, viral or fungal. Sometimes accompanies certain diseases or tumors.

Symptoms of pericarditis:

• The patient feels chest pain, fever, malaise and shortness of breath, in addition to causing disease symptoms.
